CLOTHING PURCHASE PREFERENCES AMONG CENTRAL
WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

This research study surveyed Central Washington University (CWU) students to determine their preferences and motivations for purchasing clothing. The purpose for this study was to determine What motivates CWU students to purchase clothing and/or accessories? A survey was distributed to CWU students which gathered data about their motivations for purchasing clothing. The survey was printed on paper, and copies were distributed to CWU students. The data gathered entirely during the month of February, and 30 completed surveys were used for this study. Only students who are currently enrolled at CWU were surveyed. The following conclusions were based upon an analysis of the findings reported above. The scores represent an opinion scale of 1 to 6, with 1 representing the response “Strongly Disagree” and 6 representing the responses “Strongly Agree.”
