Central Washington University

The Apparel, Textiles, & Merchandising program at Central Washington University has allowed me learn more in depth not just about fashion, but the business and merchandising side as well. I have had the opportunity to create meaningful friendships with others in the program. Surrounded by many creative individuals on a daily basis allows for a pleasant environment where individuality flows and creativity sparks. 

The program has lead me to internship possibilities, field experience trips, including The MAGIC Trade Show in Las Vegas and a trip to New York City, and Los Angeles. I have gotten the chance to take sewing and design classes, & Adobe Creative Suite technique classes where I learned how to create mood boards, line sheets, and overall an outlet to express my creative ideas. I will be able to take my experiences I have learned and fully use them in my career path.
